NEWSFLASH! Sharon has got married to the gorgeous Peter Hollingsworth so you may see her name change to Sharon Hollingsworth as we update things, but even if you know her as Ashton or Hollingsworth her experience and skills will never be affected... she is still Sharon!

M POWER

Sharon is starting a brand new adult choir that is for all levels and abilities. The aim of the choir is to give you industry level vocal training whilst working on repertoire that will have you singing, dancing and performing like a pro! An eclectic mix of songs from the worlds of Pop, Rock, Disco, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Country and more! The benefits of being in a choir are well documented for stress reduction and improving overall mental health. With Covid 19 we endured such a long time having to sing alone, now it is time to learn the joy of being in a 'singing family', singing and performing together. She and her family have recently relocated to County Durham and this will be the birth of M Power Choir. Weekly sessions will be held at Thornley Village Centre, Thornley near Durham and all are welcome to attend the FREE taster on Monday 13th October at 7pm to 8.30pm. No need to audition and no need to have an amazing singing voice, Sharon will get your voices to feel free, your spirits to lift and all without judgement.

​Sharon has now been asked by No More Nowt to run a 17 week singing and songwriting course starting Tuesday 21st October at Heart on the Terrace, Murton. This is a great opportunity for the energy of M Power to get you singing for a performance in December 2025 and record our original song in the studio in February 2026!

Sharon has created a fab e-book "A Singer's Book of Tips" with over 200 tips, techniques and myth busters! Over the past 30 years as professional performer, Sharon has learnt a trick or two on stage along with her 25 years as a vocal coach. In this e-book she has split the tips into 5 categories. Due for release January 2026 and at an amazing price of only £2.99 (you couldn't buy her a coffee for that!)

MASTERCLASSES/ WORKSHOPS

Sharon has devised and created workshops uniquely tailored for college performing arts students age 16-19 years that can enhance and work with their course. Workshops are 2-3 hours and jam packed  with industry relevant information and will get the students actively taking part from the start. Ideal for those colleges who are UAL, BTec courses and can be great for actors, dancers and musical theatre students wishing to progress onto Level 4 qualifications and Universities.
